A house on the market has one job: to be imagined. Not admired, imagined. The buyer who walks through the door at 27 Walden Street on a Saturday needs to see where the coffee happens, where the kids do homework, where a long dinner runs late. Staging exists to make that leap effortless.

So the palette stayed warm and quiet. Furniture was scaled to show how generous each room really is, and placed to pull people through the house rather than stop them at the threshold. Artwork and accents were chosen to suggest a life without insisting on one. Four guest bedrooms became four different reasons to buy: a nursery, a study, a room for visiting parents, a room a teenager would accept.

Nothing here was designed to be remembered as design. It was designed to be forgotten the moment a buyer said, out loud, “this could be ours.”
